emergency care
field.
First, Life Safety
Solutions (LSS)
provides
comprehensive
consulting services
relating to
evaluation of
existing Public
Access
Defibrillation
programs (PAD), risk
management
assessment of AED
programs,
site/facility
assessment for AED
deployment,
continuous
legislative
evaluations with
regards to AED
placement
requirements, actual
placement of AED’s,
emergency care
program management
and registration of
AED’s with the
responding Emergency
Medical Services.
We are also a
Training Center for
the American Heart
Association (AHA),
Emergency Care and
Safety Institute
(ECSI) and The
American Safety and
Health Institute
(ASHI). LSS and its
staff of highly
medically educated
instructors has
trained over 100,000
Lay-Rescuers to date
and placed over
2,000 Automatic
External
Defibrillators
(AEDs) in schools,
airports, theaters
and offices.
Lastly, we are your
one-stop source for
a wide variety of
AED units, AED
accessories, first
aid products and
emergency oxygen
systems.

Dave Magruder,
Founder and
President of LSS, is
a retired
Lieutenant-Paramedic
from Palm Beach
County Fire Rescue
and has over 28
years of experience
in Firefighting, EMS
and Education. His
career as a
Paramedic-Lieutenant
included assignments
in Training, EMS and
Operations. Mr.
Magruder has also
been an educator in
the Allied Health
Medical Magnet at
Lake Worth High
School in Palm Beach
County and served as
the Emergency
Medical Technician
Program Coordinator
for Palm Beach
County Community
College for four
years. In addition
to his career
experiences, Mr. Magruder has been
named the Florida
Association of EMS
Educators EMS
Program Director of
the Year in 2002 and
was nominated and
served as an
appointed member of
the Palm Beach
County EMS Advisory
Council and was also
recently appointed
membership to the
Emergency Care and
Safety Institute’s (ECSI)
National Advisory
Council. Dedicated
to public service,
Mr. Magruder founded
Life Safety
Solutions to save
lives and is doing
this through public
awareness of the
importance of live
saving measures.
